Mrs. Pauline Lucyshyn
May 10, 1926 – July 17, 2026
The family of Pauline Lucyshyn (nee Zamosny) announces her peaceful passing on July 17, 2026, at the age of 100 years. She lived a long and full life and passed with her loving family at her side.
Pauline was born in 1926 to Peter and Mary Zamosny of Vonda, Saskatchewan. She married Frank Lucyshyn in 1952 and together they raised their two children, Ray and Shirley.
Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband Frank in 2016. She is survived by her son Ray and his wife Denise, and grandsons Joseph and David, all of Edmonton; her daughter Shirley and her husband Larry Pawluk; grandson Nick Pawluk and his wife Breanna, and their children Emily and Kailey; granddaughter Joanne and her husband Joe Radu, and their children Rachel and Owen, all of Saskatoon. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Pauline Lucyshyn and Wasylia Lucyshyn, and her brother Bill Zamosny.
The Divine Liturgy for the late Pauline Lucyshyn will be held in the Chapel at St. Joseph’s Home, 33 Valens Drive, Saskatoon on Thursday, July 23rd at 10:00 am. The Interment will take place at the Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery.
We would like to thank all the staff at St. Volodymyr Villa, and most importantly the staff and Sisters of St. Joseph’s Home for the exceptional care provided to our Mom over the past four years. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Pauline Lucyshyn can be made to St. Joseph’s Home.
